Indiana State- Missouri Valley

Departed coach/record: Joey Wells, 3+ seasons (44-69 overall, 12-33 in the Missouri Valley)

Season-by-season record:
2014-15: 17-13 (7-11)
2015-16: 13-17 (9-9)
2016-17: 12-18 (6-12)
2017-18: 2-11 (0-2)

Reason for departure: Wells resigned in January after the team got off to a 2-11 overall record. Athletic director Sherard Clinkscale said that the timing was simply due to the negative trajectory that the team had taken. The Sycamores actually dealt with the change well on the court as they finished conference play with a 9-9 record, good enough for 5th place.

New coach/previous position: Vicki Hall, Toledo associate head coach
