It’s impossible to talk about every one of A’ja Wilson’s skills in one draft rundown, so this time around, let’s discuss the way she’s improved her decision making over even the All-American campaign she put together as a junior. Facing even greater defensive attention without the safety valves of Kaela Davis and Allisha Gray, Wilson improved her assist percentage from 10.9 percent last year to 14.8 percent this season, while seeing her turnover percentage drop from 12 to 10.2 percent. She’s doing this into the teeth of gameplans centered around stopping her. So smooth, so polished, she’s ready to start, and star, in the WNBA immediately.
