She moved seamlessly from winning four championships in four years at University of Connecticut to capturing Rookie of the Year honors with the Seattle Storm in 2016. In each of her first two WNBA seasons, her player efficiency rating ranked seventh in the league.

But there’s no offseason for Stewart, a reality captured in the latest Cycle mini-documentary about her time playing during the WNBA offseason in China.”
“I’m trying to become the best player in the world,” Stewart says in the video. “So this is an opportunity for me to continue working on my game, and to try some things I didn’t have the chance to do last season in the WNBA.”
Many facets of her life in China are covered, from her relationship with her translator and his wife to the way she prepares for game days, trips to other cities and her effort to embrace life as a role model.
