Stefanie Dolson re-signs with the Chicago Sky
Stefanie Dolson, a restricted free agent, has agreed to return to the Chicago Sky, a league source confirmed to The Summitt.

Dolson, 26, completed her best season as a pro in her first year with Amber Stocks and the Sky. Her Player Efficiency Rating of 18.5 included a 43.7 percent shooting mark from three, good for third-best in the league, while she posted a career-best 14.8 assist percentage in Stocks’ freeflowing offense.
Dolson remains a stellar rim protector, with a block percentage above three in each of her four WNBA seasons, and validated the decision by the Sky to center their Elena Delle Donne trade with the Washington Mystics around Dolson.
The decision to bring Dolson back allows Stocks and the Sky to plan a future around her in the middle, along with a backcourt of Allie Quigley (like Dolson, a 2017 All Star) and Courtney Vandersloot, not to mention the returning Jamierra Faulkner, though she remains unsigned at the moment.
The Sky also own picks three and four in this year’s draft, one their own natural pick, the other a pick they received from the Atlanta Dream in a deal that cost them Imani Boyette and Tamera Young.
As of right now, The Summitt projects the Sky will take Diamond DeShields and Gabby Williams with those picks, making for an intimidating, defense-heavy and multifaceted frontcourt.
