For the second consecutive week, the winners of the AAC’s weekly awards have gone to players who have already won an AAC award at least once this season.  USF’s Kitija Laksa is the Player of the Week following a 40pt performance where she shot 81 percent from the floor and 92 percent from three-point range.  Cincinnati’s Iimar’I Thomas earned Freshman of the Week.  Last week she averaged a double-double that included a 15-point, nine rebound performance in 22 minutes against Ohio State.
