Shekinna Stricklen made bucket after bucket for the Connecticut Sun in their win over the Seattle Storm on Wednesday.

The Connecticut forward made a career-high (and franchise-high) seven threes and scored a season-high 21 points, leading her team to a 83-79 victory.

The Sun couldn’t be stopped against the Storm, thanks not only to Stricklen but also to Jonquel Jones. She’s been strong this whole season, and nabbed her first ever player of the month this month with Sylvia Fowles.

Jones led the Sun to a strong first quarter. Jasmine Thomas, Courtney Williams and Alyssa Thomas were also contributors.

The Sun face the Sparks next, at 10:30 p.m. in Los Angeles.
