DaChe Williams to leave Rutgers basketball program

DaChe Williams is leaving the Rutgers women’s basketball program, the school announced in a press release on Tuesday.

Williams’ collegiate career took her from Northeastern to Winthrop to Rutgers, where she graduated in May with a degree in labor studies and employment relations.

"“I wish DaChe all the best in her future and I am proud she was able to obtain her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University,” head coach C. Vivian Stringer said in the press release."

Williams missed much of the 2016-17 season for the Scarlet Knights after suffering a concussion in the preseason. When she returned, she played sparingly in 10 games, averaging 1.0 points and 0.8 rebounds per contest.
