While it didn’t qualify as a “bad beat”, the New York Liberty’s 93-89 victory over the Dallas Wings hurt, as they covered the spread by just half a point, ruining my pick. My pick of the under 160 total points wasn’t even close, so hats off to both teams for scoring a ton of points when I just didn’t see that happening, especially considering all the missing player for New York. Tina Charles is almost always predictably terrific, but a career high 36 points was impressive, as were the 27 points from Shavonte Zellous.

The Wings are in action again today, as are five other teams, so let’s not waste any time and get into it.
